ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsibilities
• Follow up with global and domestic low carbon business development status
• Analysis low carbon business development status, opportunities and obstacles in China, accomplish written report on research findings
• Conduct literature review, consult stakeholders and researchers
• Build platform that engage government and industry to share technical information and policy
• Help on design and implement project that fulfills The Climate Group’s initiatives on corporate engagement, including global member and local business engagement
• Support team leader to manage corporate relationships

• Ability to work under pressure and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply the knowledge learned
• Self-disciplined, motivated, team player, proven ability to work with minimal supervision
• Creative thinker who can propose new, innovative ways to work

Qualifications
• Master degree (or bachelor with 1+yr working experience) in Environment management, Environmental policy, Energy, business management or related field
• Knowledge in business and climate change policy
• Strong interest to explore low carbon business models
• Fast learner
• Ability to infer the whole from a single instance
• Proficiency in English, both writing and oral
• Good writing skills
• Good communication skill, team spirit, can work independently on assigned task
• Excellent on Microsoft office software, especially PPT
• Proactive attitude
• Ability to deliver high quality work under pressure and time constrain
